Purchasing Breakout Learning Through Your Campus Bookstore
Breakout Learning partners with campus bookstores and supports both Inclusive Access and Equitable Access programs, allowing institutions to distribute Breakout Learning course materials through their existing bookstore processes.
Direct purchases through Breakout Learning
While bookstore distribution is fully supported, Breakout Learning recommends directing participants to purchase their Section Pass through the platform whenever possible. Purchasing directly through Breakout Learning provides the lowest available price, as campus bookstores may apply additional fees or markups.
Bookstore fulfillment options
Depending on the bookstore's capabilities, Breakout Learning supports two fulfillment methods:
- Codeless access – Participant access is activated automatically after the bookstore purchase, with no access code required.
- Access codes – The bookstore distributes access codes that participants redeem in Breakout Learning to activate their Section Pass.
Participants who opt out of an Inclusive Access or Equitable Access program can still purchase their Section Pass directly through Breakout Learning.
Getting started
To distribute Breakout Learning through a campus bookstore:
- Contact the assigned Breakout Learning Account Manager.
- Introduce the Account Manager to the bookstore contact by email.
- The Breakout Learning team will coordinate the remaining setup with the bookstore, including support for Inclusive Access or Equitable Access programs when applicable.
