Set up a class in Breakout Learning after creating your instructor account
Adding a Class
1. Open the classes page

Log in to your account.

Navigate to the Classes page.
2. Enter class details

Provide a class name and section name.

Enter the expected number of participants for the section.

If your course has multiple sections, add each section separately.
3. Set class dates

Define the start date and end date for the class.

Note: These dates can only be edited until participants accept the invitation link.
4. Review draft status

Once created, your class will appear in draft status.

While in draft status, you cannot invite participants.
5. Activate the class

To remove draft status, you must assign your first breakout experience.

After assigning, you’ll be able to invite participants.
6. Manage multiple classes

If you already have classes created, they will appear on the page.

Use the Add class button at the top right to create additional classes.
