Launching a Breakout Learning Experience - Brightspace/D2L Users

1. Locate the assigned experience

• Log in to Brightspace and open the Content tab.

• Find your upcoming Breakout Learning assignment, including its due date and availability window.

• Select the assigned experience to continue.

2. Open the Breakout Learning platform

• Follow the prompt to open the experience in a new browser tab.

• Confirm you are enrolled with the required tokens.

3. Review the module page

• Check the scheduled session time.

• Use the chat feature to communicate with your group if needed.

• View your assigned pre-work materials.

4. Complete pre-work and quiz

• Work through all required pre-work items.

• Finish the associated quiz.

• Unlock the option to start the breakout assignment.

5. Begin your breakout experience

• Start the assignment once all prerequisites are completed.

• Refer to the linked resources for guidance on completing the experience and addressing common questions.
